SWEDISH MASSAGE
Thirty Minutes $45
Sixty Minutes $80
Ninety Minutes $120
Swedish Massage is what most people envision when talking about massage. This form of massage is more superficial than some other forms (i.e. Deep Tissue). Swedish massage is ideal for relaxation and circulation of the muscles. The strokes used mimic the natural circulation of blood flow in the body, hence the effects of increased oxygen levels and circulation of blood. Swedish massage consists of 5 different strokes/techniques. They are listed as follows:
- Effleurage- The use of long, smooth strokes on the back and arms. Aids lymphatic flow and circulation.
- Petrissage- The use of kneading, rolling, and lifting skin and muscle from the bones. Clears debris from muscles and aids deep tissue circulation.
- Friction- The use of pressure in circular motions. When used near joints, can significantly reduce pain from tendonitis.
- Percussive- The use of hacking, pounding, and/or cupping. These percussion movements stimulate circulation and relieves muscle tension.
- Vibration- The use of the hands to vibrate or oscillate the muscles. Boosts circulation and can help relieve lower back pain.

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
Thirty Minutes $55
Sixty Minutes $100
Ninety Minutes $150
Deep tissue massage consists of slower, deeper strokes than Swedish massage. Tight muscles can become inflamed, causing pain and allowing toxins to coalesce in the muscles. Deep tissue massage targets these areas, releasing muscle tension and allowing toxins to enter the blood stream where they can be flushed from the body. This form of massage is less comfortable than a Swedish massage. However, with plenty of water and rest for the sore areas, the muscles in the body feel rejuvenated and ready to go.
